How to use the system

Contact the support staff to confirm if you can carry out the experiment / measurements you want to make.
If your experiment / measurement is considered possible, fill out and file an application to the contact point of each institute.
From the contents of the application, we determine whether your proposal is appropriate for the Nanotechnology Platform program.
If your proposal is approved, complete the procedures and use the equipment according to the contents of application.
After using this platform program, you are asked to submit a utilization report.
If you get positive results, you must present your research results at an academic conference, publish a paper and/or apply for the patents.

Type of user support

The users and the support staffs work on the problem together with the data analysis and technical discussion.
The users work on the problem independently with the data analysis and technical discussion.
The support staffs do experiment / measurement instead of the users.
The users consult with the support staffs about experiment / measurement.

The Organization of Molecule and Material Synthesis Platform

From Hokkaido to Kyushu, the platform is available in the following 11 institutes: Chitose Institute of Science and Technology, Tohoku University, National Institute for Materials Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science And Technology, Shinshu University, Nagoya University, Nagoya Institute of Technology, National Institute of Natural Sciences, Osaka University, Nara Institute of Science and Technology and Kyushu University. They support neighboring universities, public institutions and private corporations by sharing their facilities.

In addition, they offer special custom made high-tech supports as well, which other institutes cannot afford to provide.
